About Brittany: Even though this blog is all about our life as Mr. and Mrs. Kolbeck, all of the commentary is from me. :) Let's see...I was born and raised in North San Diego County. My parents have been married for 33 years and have always been my source of strength and inspiration. They have instilled in me the values that make me who I am today and I am very proud of that. I am the oldest of three girls and love the bond that we have. We are all very different and unique, spread out in age (and geography!) but still in our hearts, we are so close.
I attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles on a softball scholarship. I couldn't bear to leave California. And despite the ever growing cost of living and the myriad of issues our state faces, I don't think I'll ever leave. My teammates quickly became my best friends and still are to this day. While softball is no longer a significant part of my life, it was, in many ways, the driver behind my success. I graduated with a degree in Accounting and a degree in Marketing and now work in a global role as a Strategic Program & Operations Manager for a large consulting firm.
I met John through mutual friends and we were married on November 17, 2012. Married life is more amazing than I ever imagined. We are building such a fun and fulfilling life together. We are dog people and adopted our boxer Lexi in January 2013 when she was just eight weeks old. I cannot imagine our lives without her. It has been good practice for when we decide to expand our family!
I pride myself on being a Christian and make it a point to base my life around faith. I enjoy volunteering my time at our church, Christ's Church of the Valley. I like to read but don't find enough time to do it. I love Pinterest and learning new ways to clean, organize, get healthy, etc. and hopefully my blog reflects that from time to time.
I originally started this blog to keep my family up to date on all of our adventures. Since then, I've enjoyed expanding it to cover lots of different topics. Thanks for stopping by and I'd really love to hear your thoughts!!

Rock the Dress - February 2013
A few months after we were married, we got dressed up again and had a Rock the Dress session which was so much fun! We were at Horsethief Canyon Park in San Dimas and whaddya know...a woman with a horse walked by and let us take pictures! They turned out great!
